As dating app fatigue continues to rise, with people exhausted from browsing apps like Hinge, Bumble and Tinder, younger generations are turning to Facebook dating to find their matches.

According to Axios, daily conversations among users ages 18 to 29 on Facebook Dating increased 24% over the past year.

According to data Facebook shared with the site, more than half of young adult users on the app return loyally, with 55% of women and 56% of men returning monthly.

Data shows that female “likes” are more likely to result in a match. On average, 11% of male likes ended with a match, while 72% of female likes ended with a match.

Women are also more likely than men to seek a long-term partner, with 47% of women seeking a long-term partner compared to 35% of men.

Overall, 38% of young people in the United States and Canada are looking for long-term relationships, and 28% are looking for casual relationships.

Ayla Tse, 27, told Axios she found the “love of her life” through Facebook Dating.

Through the app, Tse met Nik Dorozhkinrom, 24, and the couple had been together for two years.

The Brooklyn duo found each other when Xie “got tired of the patterns” on other apps, such as ghosting and cringe reactions. She told the outlet that Facebook Dating provided “the right timing and the right vibe” for a match.

“I love how easy it is to set up,” Xie said. “It’s basically effortless! I love that you can see who likes you back without having to pay. I like the people there better than on other apps.”
