Fun factory and mixed lube =💔?

So I read that basically any good quality silicone toy will tolerate a water/silicone hybrid lube. Well, I did a patch test on the handle of my Fun Factory Vim with Sliquid Silk and it left a spot that wouldn’t wash out. Then I remembered that the finish on Fun Factory toys is different than a lot of other silicone toys, could that be the reason? It’s very matte.
