First toy suggestion for men who want to have anal sex

As simple as the title says. I’m a man and have recently been thinking about buying myself a toy. I’m now thinking of getting a dildo or a butt plug. I have very little experience with anal sex so don’t know where best to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
