Exotic snacks that boost libido are also good for you:
This is indeed a way to get everyone “excited” and annoyed.
According to a study published in the journal Animal Products Food Science, grasshoppers may be added to the list of so-called aphrodisiacs — a food or other substance believed to increase sexual desire.
While foods that can boost erotic moods are more fantasy than fact, many of the foods touted as aphrodisiacs are packed with nutritional and other benefits, since a healthy libido starts with good health.

Studies have found that eating grasshoppers can increase libido, improve sleep quality, promote hair health, and help control weight.
Researchers at the University of Deschamps in Cameroon have found that rats fed a diet of grasshoppers, a common edible food in Cameroon, have a number of significant health benefits compared to other foods.
These health benefits are attributed to the nutritional richness of insects, including protein, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Chewing insects significantly increased libido, as evidenced by the fact that the mice that consumed this diet became noticeably more active.
The mice also slept about 12 hours more per week, grew “significantly superior” fur, and were better at maintaining a healthy average weight.

While the study focused only on mice, the researchers say the same findings could apply to humans.
“Our findings highlight the huge potential of edible insects like Ruspolia nitidula. [Large Conehead Grasshoppers] as an alternative protein source,” lead researcher Ngnaniyyi Abdoul told The Washington Post.
“Not only does a grasshopper meal meet nutritional needs, it also provides great health benefits.”
According to a study published in Scientific Reports, more than 2,200 insect species are consumed in 123 countries around the world, including the United States.

As food supplies face changes and uncertainty due to population growth and climate change, experts are increasingly advocating for the inclusion of insects in more cuisines.
About a quarter of Americans are willing to consume insects as food, and 18% are willing to eat a whole bug, according to the report.
But if your sexual desire increases, this number may also increase.
