Dig your own hole?

I just bought my first masturbator and I accidentally bought the one with an anal hole, it’s cheap and doesn’t have a hole in the back like some others I’ve seen. Is it ok for me to make a hole in it myself? I mean a small hole to let the air out the other end because it’s very very tight for me.
