Cleaning a Textured Silicone Dildo (My First Textured Dildo)

I recently bought a Creature Cock which is a tentacle and cleaned it before use and now I am wondering how to clean the crevices and very small indentations. I can hand wash it with toy cleaner but it is hard for me to get every little part especially near the tip. Any suggestions? My husband said we should throw it in the dishwasher to see if that helps but I am skeptical because the detergent residue will stick to it.
