Chiikawa and 7-Eleven launch cute winter collaboration

Japan’s 7-Eleven has just announced details of its new collaboration with the popular character series. Chii River. Starting on December 3, the convenience store chain will be launching a special winter event featuring exclusive food, prizes and plenty of Chiikawa-themed merchandise.

Senigawa Food and Beverage

The event features a selection of Senigawa-style cuisine with classic Japanese flavors designed to bring comfort during the cold winter months. Highlights include:

• Eight-cut Tatami rice Onigiri: Beloved Characters Inspired by Outfits civet cat This rice ball is flavored with Japanese broth and mushrooms.
• Chiikawa’s Ketchup Rice Balls: Taken directly from a scene in the anime series, the characters are enjoying a hearty meal of ketchup rice. This rice ball has tomato sauce with added chili peppers and corn.
• Usagi’s Pizza Bread: Featuring Chiikawa rabbit Usagi, this pizza bread features delicious tomato sauce and melted cheese, all wrapped in chewy, comforting dough.
• Senyikawa Sesame Manju: A fluffy sesame-red bean paste-flavored steamed bun with Senigawa’s face printed on it.
• Senigawa Tsubu Anman (limited): red bean paste bun with red bean cubes and Senigawa printed on it.

Unless otherwise noted, these limited edition items are available at 7-Eleven convenience stores across Japan.

For those looking to take their love of Chiikawa to the next level, 7-Eleven is also hosting a special contest. By entering a receipt-based drawing between December 3 and 25, customers can win unique Chiikawa-themed prizes, including a Chiikawa sweater and 7-Eleven gift certificates.

What is Senigawa?

Chiigawa is a popular character created by Japanese illustrator Nagano.
