Buttplug hurts when sitting

I have a hush 1.5inch, I’m not really new to anal. I use plenty of lube, and insertion doesn’t hurt, but when I sit or move certain ways there’s a weird ache. Could it just be that I need more practice? This plug is slightly longer than I am used to, I just don’t want to hurt myself or anything. I’d appreciate any advice you have!
