Brand new original store interior

Starting from Saturday, November 22, the brand new “Tamagotchi Factory” will officially open at the original gate of Tokyu Plaza, Harajuku. In this whimsical factory-themed concept store, fans can browse Tamagotchi merchandise and make their own goodies to take home. This follows last year’s success birthday eventalso held at the original gate.

The store is designed around a central idea: experiencing the world of Tamagotchi. Rather than simply grabbing items from the shelves, visitors are encouraged to step into a colorful “workshop” environment, where they can customize products, assemble their own merchandise, and enjoy the feeling of being part of a small Tamagotchi production line. Staff wear factory-style uniforms, and the store’s pastel-colored, vivid factory graphics complete the world-building.

During the opening week, the store will launch the “Tamagotchi Connection × mezzo piano” collaborative pre-sale event. The exclusive devices feature new illustrations created specifically for the collaboration, featuring beloved Tamagotchi characters wearing the fashion brand’s bunny-eared hoodies.

But the biggest draw may be the store-exclusive event “Mini Tama Tumeho-dai!” (Unlimited Mini Tama Tumeho-dai). Fans can scoop up minifigures—from classic Tamagotchis to mini-game items like candy, rice balls, and even the creature’s iconic poop—and place them into specially designed Tamagotchi-shaped bottles. There’s also a booth where you can pick out iron-on patches featuring your favorite characters and letters to customize your own keychains, apparel and accessories.

How to Visit the Tamagotchi Factory: Reservation Instructions

Due to what is expected to be a busy start-up week, admissions dates for November 22-30 are initially determined by lottery. However, a limited number of additional first-come, first-served reservations have been released for specific time periods. These additional lottery entries go live at 7pm on November 18th and are only available to those who have not previously applied or won.

To apply please add Electronic Pet Factory official LINE accountcheck the automated instructions sent to your chat, and click the button labeled “Show up and pay in advance” (book in advance) to get started. Select your desired time slot, submit your application and show up at the original door on the date you booked.

On the day of your visit, you need to arrive 10 minutes before the designated time slot (or within the special 11:00–11:05 window during opening hours) and your QR code will appear in LINE once your admission number is called.
