boiled TPE dildo, can i use it?

so i boiled a TPE dildo to sterilize it assuming it was silicone before reading the box (dumb i know but i only looked because it started deforming) and it deformed a bit, is it safe to use? I don’t know a whole lot about this and just joined the sub to ask haha but I’ve also seen that TPE isn’t body safe. i got it from adam & eve
