Best Sex Toy of 2025 – Girly Juice

Yes, it’s that time again… I’m going to tell you about my favorite sex toys of the year!

2025 has been a complete shit show politically, and one of the most challenging (but also happiest) years I’ve ever experienced personally, moving to New York, getting back into improv, getting painfully rejected by a crush, and starting a new long-distance relationship. (Damn, did this really happen in just one year?!)

Despite all the ups and downs this year has had, one thing remains true: my sex toys have always been there for me. It’s always calming to know that no matter how many cuties break my heart, no matter how many fascists try to break my spirit, I can still enjoy the simple pleasures of tool-assisted masturbation and the positive neurochemical effects of an orgasm or three.

So, without further ado, here are my favorite sex toys of 2025…

They may not be new, flashy, or exciting (although some of them are!), but here are my favorite things that I’ve had for over a year and still use regularly:

I’ll be honest: there aren’t many new toys I liked enough this year to include on this list! There are only a few, but I still think they deserve a shout-out. This is my choice…

#5: Valm 8-Inch Realistic Dildo (Valm $110)

It’s just a realistic big dick. As regular readers of this blog know, I am a Dick fan!

As a colorful woman who eschews neutrals, I’ve always preferred bright and bold shades over skin tones, so I’m glad Valm customized this dildo for me in a delicious orange to fuchsia ombre. During use, the toy struck a satisfying balance between firmness and softness, making it the perfect size for when I’m in a size-queen mood. Highly recommended (literally)!

#4: Solina Aura (Peep Show $50)

Another silicone dick? Yes. What can I say? I know what I like!

I find this easier to insert than some of the Solina dildos I’ve tried before, as the Aura’s ball and suction cup base act as a handle. Its 6.1 inches of insertable length is perfect for hitting my A-spot. This dildo is also modeled after an “uncut” penis, which I appreciate because I have enjoyed both circumcised and uncircumcised penises in my sexual history, but rarely see the latter represented in the sex toy industry!

#3: Lovense Lush 4 / Lush Mini ($129 and $129 respectively at SheVibe)

I’m doing a lot of long range play again this year and the Lovense toys make it more intuitive and connected than ever.

The difference between the two vibrations is their size; I found the Lush Mini easier to insert without having to be already wet/aroused, while the Lush 4 felt more satisfying during orgasm. When controlled by someone with skill and patience, these wonderful rumbling G-spot vibrations almost feel like a partner is fingering me!

#2: Lelo Switch ($200 at Lovehoney)

Before I can praise this toy, I have to roast it. The Switch is a perfect example of Lelo’s declining reputation: It’s overpriced and has some fancy features that never work the way you want them to. In this case, they’ve made a mini wand vibrator with two motors – one on the wand head (as you’d expect) and one on top of the wand. deal withit can be used as a G-spot vibrator when you flip the toy over.

When Tantus tried dual-ended toys in 2014, I didn’t like them, and I still don’t like them now, for the same reasons I did then: When you’re constantly switching back and forth between the two ends of the toy (as the Switch’s name encourages you to do), you end up with lube and/or bodily fluids on your hands. I suppose some people might be interested in this, but to me it’s a bit of a sensory nightmare.

That being said…this is a sturdy, rumbly, waterproof, and very quiet wand with multiple vibration settings. It’s also visually stunning, just like the Lelo toys. It appears to have fewer mechanical issues than Lelo’s previous attempt in this category, the smart wand. This is one of the better products Lelo has put out in years, which admittedly isn’t saying much – however, with the number of orgasms it gave me, it definitely earns the number two spot on this list.

#1: Waterproof Wand ($190 at Peeshow)

I mean, let’s face it: nothing can top this. If you ask me, the long-awaited launch of the waterproof wand is the most exciting news all year for the sex toy industry. (Yes, I might be a little biased because I spent a year interviewing people about wands and making a podcast miniseries about it, but I still think I’m right!)

As if it wasn’t surprising enough that they’ve managed to come up with a waterproof version of this decades-old classic, Vibratex has also given this toy more power than any of their previous wands, making it the strongest rechargeable/non-electric wand I’ve ever tried. it actually ended up being a bit also It’s pretty powerful for me, so I still use my wand to charge more often – but I’m glad the waterproofing exists, especially for those who prefer jackhammer-style vibrations.
