BDSM Dog Mask Tips and Product Reviews

what are these?

Dog masks are fun and, some would say, essential gear for playing pet games. If you consider yourself a dog, like primitive life, or just love to dress up as a dog, this is a must-have for your collection.

As for the exact definition, well, the design can vary. As long as it covers part of your face and makes you look “doggy,” it’s fine. How much BDSM, general kink, or fetish (if any) you want to add is up to you.

What materials are they made of?

There is one Wide There are many varieties to choose from and a wider range of options for different budgets.

leather – You can make a mask out of natural materials, but without the furry feel. It also looks more BDSM-like than other options. However, keep in mind that leather requires special care and is more expensive.

fur – I’ve seen people add fur to the ears (usually to match the butt plug tail) or cover the entire mask. It’s all about personal preference.

Artificial leather – Like leather, but fake and cheaper, or for those who don’t want animal products.

plastic – Think of those cheap masks with the elastic band at the back. It may not look great, but it’s perfect if you’re new to masks and aren’t sure whether to spend a lot of money.

eraser – Looks and feels similar to leather, but is easier to clean, more flexible, and definitely a good choice if you’re a rubber fan. Be careful though. They’re also more expensive.

Foam – I’ve seen some made from role play foam. More of the Esty bought or lightweight stuff.

emulsion – Another “Halloween” mask. Great selection at a great price.

Silicone – More expensive, but the best hygiene.

Which one should you buy?

It’s totally up to you. There’s no right or wrong answer. Just consider how serious you are about your quirk or fetish and what you can afford. If you plan on attending every party and can afford the price, it’s better to go with a product that’s high quality and will last longer.

Other matters worth noting

Quality and price – This is something to be aware of with any adult product. They are usually ridiculously overpriced, regardless of quality. All you have to do is hint at “sex product” or “fetish product” and the price could be 50% higher than it should be.

Look at how it’s assembled. Read customer reviews. See where it’s made (“Made in China” is usually a red flag). Weigh these factors against how much they’re asking, then hand over your credit card.

Suture – Another thing to look at is the stitching or gluing. Cheap stitching and glue will fall apart after one or two uses. It’s hard to see online (so read the reviews), but if you can get it in a physical store, that’s even better.

Material – I’ve listed the materials, but you need to decide what you’re comfortable wearing. If you’re allergic to latex, it’ll definitely take away any sexiness you might have as you slowly start to develop a painful rash.

return the goods – Some stores do not allow returns on adult products (regardless of where they were placed on the body). Please read the return or exchange details carefully before purchasing.

Case

This is one of the results for searching “BDSM dog mask” on Google.

At first glance, this mask looks fine. It’s basic, but a little quirky. The pictures are clear, and you can see how it’s sewn (but we can’t see the quality). There’s an adjustable strap on the back, which is also nice, but it doesn’t look like it will stay in place with any major movement.

Next up is the price. At $20 plus shipping, it’s one of the cheaper options. But then we come to the store – AliExpress. Yes, they sell really cheap stuff, but they are notorious for having issues with returns or exchanges. They also take a long time to arrive (unless you’re willing to pay top dollar).

Afterwards, we see that the star rating may be high, but there are only two users.

Lastly, the return policy is hard to understand (Google Translate), it looks like shipping takes a month, but even with the 12 month “guarantee” you only have 15 days to return it. You may end up paying more for shipping than you received.

All in all, for me, this is a “pass”. There are better products out there for a similar price that won’t give you as much trouble.
