Are there cracks/marks on the sex toy?

Hi, I have a clear plastic dildo and plug, both are a bit soft. I’ve had the large dildo for years and noticed some marks on it but thought it was just from wear and tear. But this plug is newer and it quickly developed these marks, which look like cracks or something (they are rounded and irregular, but they don’t change the surface shape if you know what I mean). Are these safe to use or is this really wear and tear and I’m just worried for nothing? I can’t find out what they are made of but all I can tell you is that they feel a bit soft to the touch, are clear plastic, and I use a water based liquid silk lube. Any advice would be great!
