Located along the pedestrian-friendly Marunouchi Naka-Dori is located on a charming street that extends from Yurakucho Station to Otemachi Station – this open-air exhibition integrates contemporary sculptures directly into the city’s tree-lined streetscape. The project has been around since 1972 and is one of the longest-running public art programs in Japan, working with the Hakone Open Air Museum to add new works every three years.

Instead of wandering through galleries, you can encounter artworks from world-renowned artists as you stroll through cafes, shops and office buildings. It’s a laid-back way to enjoy urban artworks – no tickets or schedules required.
