Bride skiing through the aisle on her wedding dress

A bride skied in her wedding dress and tied the mountains on the snowy hills 8,000 feet.

Jess and Ladis Hoefkens, 36, married on March 28 at the top of Mont Brévant in Chamonix, France, held an intimate ceremony with only 20 guests, whose formal costumes were worn with guests in skiing.

The bride’s father, Jon, 70, met with his groom Groom Ladis at 60 meters skiing distance – the couple exchanged vows with the French Alps as the background.

The newlyweds then paired with the guests with snacks and champagne – before they dragged the hill with 15 members of the wedding party and photographers.

Jesse, a bride from Weymouth, Dorset, said: “It’s a lot of pressure and that’s why we keep it in a small amount.

“I came from a very busy mountain family, but Ladis’s family is non-skier.

“That was so beautiful.

“We’re waiting to say that everyone is there.

“I went to mom with my 70-year-old dad and sister Nicki Affleck and my 38-year-old mom and dad.

“My dad was so happy to slide down the aisle.

“There are two types of lifts to get there, and the second lift fisted in the clouds.

“It’s amazing, obviously, I’ve never skied through the aisle with a piece of clothing.

“We were only a short distance, so I thought ‘I hope this goes well’.

“Everyone is still talking about how magical and special it is there.”

The couple met on Tinder in 2019 – both interested in slopes.

Ladis said after proposing a walk at sunset in September 2022 that Jess “mentioned that she would love the mountain wedding”.

“When we first skied, she saw something like that.”

The wedding was “more expensive” than a typical big day, with family and friends putting a cabin in a small cabin in the Company Marmotte Mountain.

After Chamonix’s “Multiple Seasons” as Chalet host, Jess is a friend of the owner.

ROV offshore worker Ladis said: “We do know [that Jess was going to ski down the aisle] But obviously I didn’t see her clothes.

“Her mom made her clothes for her and she didn’t know if she could ski, she was just winged.

“It’s incredible, she looks effortless.

“I will never forget her, I’ve completed 300 million views [of the video] Watching it over and over again. ”

After skiing in the mountains, family and friends joined the newlyweds at the cabin.

Jesse said: “We had the most amazing and lovely reception on the wooden house, which was basically après, we also had a very good band, Revolverlites, which played as well.

“It was a great day, but also casual and low-key.”
