Desperate singles need help before tax deadlines – So

They are not looking for love, they are looking for applications.

According to a new survey, Gen Z is brushing the teeth app, hoping to match those who can help them collect taxes.

During the peak tax season, a poll by dating apps found that one in three singles in the U.S. are working to find an accountant or taxpayer, with 36% of Zers specifically involved in practice.

They’re best at work because Tuesday, April 15, 2025 is the deadline for most taxpayers.

The younger generation also revealed that they are more likely to “tax taxes” with the date – 29% of whom would seek help from their flames, compared to 21% for millennials.

According to VICE, the act of filing taxes “seems to be closer than sleeping together” – a trend that Z has admitted to being financially illiterate.

A credit karma survey published earlier this year showed that 45% of Zers said filing taxes is greater than paying taxes, and 40% of them admitted it made them want to cry.

A quarter of people after the millennium even claimed that they needed treatment courses to recover from the burden of the tax season.

To take a step further, 23% of Generation Z admit that they would rather give up their salary – while 16% would vow to be single rather than learn how to pay taxes.

A talker study poll even found that a smaller percentage (37% to be exact) could explain tax clauses like “earned income tax credit.”

“Like the baby boomers, older generations have more time to deal with tax preparations over the years, when tax preparations weren’t as automated as they are today, so they had to learn by doing that,” Karla Dennis, founder of colleagues, told News, adding: “The tax system is confusing.”

Dennis added: “Gen Z is just starting a new workforce.”

Perhaps that’s why singles find independent tax documents so hot.

According to Healy’s research, one in three single characters say it’s sexy when one person submits taxes instead of hiring others to do it.

Generation Z may find this skill sexy – their potential suitors spend an average of nine hours filing taxes.

That being said, Dennis believes that it is feasible for people (especially young people) to understand taxes these days.

“I think everyone should be asked to get some tax education,” Dennis said. “Schools and community groups should teach basic monetary skills, including how taxes work, and there are always YouTube, with a lot of videos in it.”
