Age is indeed just a number.

Is age difference really important when it comes to love? Apparently, the age gap between the couple is 34 years old, and if the two regret it, it is that they hope they meet soon.

The universe brought Christine Haycox, 74, and Hamza Dridi, 40, to seven years ago when the two met in an online English language course at the time.

In 2018, Dridi responded to a Facebook ad, in which British native Haycox proposed a work to teach foreigners about English.

From there, you can say that the rest is history – because the couple described their initial virtual meeting as love at first sight. “There is a flash of sparks between us,” Heikox told the Mirror.

After only getting to know each other in a short time, Heikox booked a one-way ticket to Hammamet, Tunisia, a country in North Africa, where her beauty lives and never looked back.

Two years later, in 2020, the pair said “I do” and held a low-key ceremony at the family home in Dridi.

“It took us a long time to get married because it took us two years to get all the paperwork from England,” Heikox explained in the article.

Finally, a year later, Haycox transformed into Islam for her husband. “Kristen is a lovely wife. She is my queen. I love her personality and wisdom,” Dridy said of his bride.

Haycox has been married for more than 30 years before she and her former spouse divorced in 2003. She has a son and daughter – a grandmother of two grandchildren.

How do Haycox’s friends and family feel about this whirlwind romance? “They can see how happy I am. My friends are great. Hamza has been talking to my friends so they can see how good we are together.”

The 74-year-old said she and her husband now share their home with most of the chores around the house.

When it comes to intimacy – no one stopping these newlyweds: “He’s a passionate Tunisian – we have more sex than most people.”

Despite living in a bubble of happiness in their own happiness, the couple still faces amazing age differences.

“We received some horrible emails and Facebook messages,” Haycox revealed.

“People say ‘he wants your money’, but I don’t have a lot of money because I’m just a regular teacher, ‘he wants a visa’ – but he’s family-oriented and he’s never leaving them.”

Although Dridi doesn’t want to leave his family, the couple’s goal is to give him a visa so that the couple can eventually move to the UK to meet Haycox’s medical needs.
