Divorce lawyers reveal careers that are most likely to deceive their partner – and signs of telling you that you are cheated.

Kate Simonds, 39, is a divorce lawyer with 15 years of experience – revealing the careers of people she believes are most likely to be unfaithful.

She said police, firefighters and people in the military were “more likely to cheat” because of their “ego” and the fact that they were around 24/7.

Kate also revealed the work roles of those who are most likely to be loyal to their partners and considers them accountants and farmers – due to their personality type and more isolated career choices.

Kate from Phoenix, Arizona, said: “Infidelity is the worst thing that can happen to a marriage.

“I don’t think people are going to divorce because of cheating, but all the questions about infidelity and the problems that come with it.

“I’ve been a divorce lawyer for 15 years and my opinion is formed by the people we see.

“We are in Phoenix and we have a large cross-section.

“The professions I’m talking about come from the number of people we’ve seen.”

Kate believes that the occupation that is most likely to deceive his partner is public service personnel, including police officers, firefighters and people working in the military.

She believes this is because they often leave the house and “women are attracted to the uniform.”

“The police and firefighters are most likely to cheat, and this has been solved well,” Kate said.

“Everyone knows what’s going on in the police store.

“They are often in contact with other people and have stereotyped personality types.

“You need a big self to do the job and women are attracted to the uniform – it’s the perfect storm.”

The professions Kate suggests are more likely to be loyal to his spouse, including those who work in agriculture, accountants, and pharmacists.

Accountants are usually more reserved because of their level of effort, farmers loyalty – claiming that “no one divorced the pharmacist”.

“I think accountants are more reserved, and stereotypical accountants are very black and white people – I think that’s their personality.

“The farmers are definitely in the non-combat column, which is probably partly because of their workload and it’s nice to assume it comes from their personality type.

“They are very trustworthy and family-oriented.

“No one I know of divorced a farmer or a pharmacist about this.”

Kate claims that signs you are being cheated include your partner reducing their communication and starting to improve yourself without you.

“My strong opinion is that cheating is about the cheating person, not the cheating person,” Kate said.

“The first signal you are cheated is the reduction in communication that the person appears to be self-isolating.

“Another signal is that when someone starts to improve himself, it doesn’t involve a partner.

“I feel like another person is not satisfied with themselves in some way and they are looking for change but don’t want to change with their partner.

“Cheating stems from their misfortune.”
