Single women reveal exact hairstyles for more dates

After years of suspicion that her hair influenced how men treated her, Abby, 23, naturally accepted curls.

She is not alone.

But, men are another story.
She continued: “When I heat up my hair, I feel that it almost guarantees that a lot of attention will be gained by men I don’t know.”
Abby started straightening her hair over a decade ago, a habit that won praise and persisted for several years.
“When I was young, I really didn’t know how to style my natural hair. I didn’t even know the type of curls, especially since most of my close family and friends naturally had straight hair,” she explained.
“I get compliments whenever I straighten my hair, and I think subconsciously makes me feel unsafe and stops me from embracing my natural hair.”
While she has been tilting her natural curls, the hair with a hot look is “more manageable”, she said, adding: “It’s less frizzy, so it’s easier to try different hairstyles for a date.”
She added: “Subconsciously, I feel like my straight hair looks clumsy, so I would say I often have more confidence in straight hair.”
She doesn’t think her hairstyle will necessarily determine the second date, explaining that more dates are determined by the connection rather than the appearance.
“If my hair is the decisive factor, then he is definitely not the right person,” she said.
