Sex and porn addiction have nothing to do with sexual orientation

Being gay, lesbian or bisexual doesn’t make you a sexual or porn addict, not making you a gender or porn addict straightforward.
Sometimes people seek sexual and porn addiction treatments, hoping it will change their sexual orientation. Sometimes they do so according to the request of a misleading family member, a mental counselor, or a clinician. However, it is impossible to remove elements from one’s wake-up template. If you are attracted to men, that’s it. If you’re attracted to women, that story; and, if you like both genders, you’d better get used to it, because no matter how much analysis you have or how many 12-step meetings you’ve attended, that won’t change. In short, sexual and porn addiction is not defined by who or what. Neither homosexual nor bisexual arousal patterns are diagnostic and porn addiction, even if these arousal patterns are self-dystonic (unneeded).
