Addiction: numbness, disconnecting connection and loss of intimacy
Robert Weiss LCSW, CSAT
Everyone who adds drugs in the ritual of sexual addicts and those who add drugs in sexual behaviors use gender to change emotions to cover up emotional pain. When used in this way, gender will eventually involve erotic desires, and it is more avoided by manipulating the pain of dopamine and other neurotransmitted by manipulation through the addiction process.
Because this emotional numbness interprets interpersonal communication, addiction can be regarded as a form of a separate disease, one of which is “disconnecting” and trauma or pain. Drugs, behaviors, and even people are forced to alleviate emotional pain, and effectively produce a very destructive self -drug form. What is ironic is that, in fact, by trying to escape these uncomfortable feelings and addictive behaviors, they will keep them forever by strengthening the most troublesome people (such as shame).
Origin of the process
Since childhood, he has learned from emotional separation. Unless it solves the trauma history of the person, it may affect the emotional regulation of the entire life cycle. Although such a solution is one of the most basic self -protection mechanisms, it is ultimately destructive, because when people are out of touch with sensations, emotions will freeze and express. For example, when the information that currently experiences or feels the older situation of similar situations, someone can “trigger”. Earlier, if you “check” or separate from it to avoid feelings, today’s reminders may trigger separation again (or desire for relief).
In all these cases, the mind cleverly separates the emotions to protect yourself from being at a loss, just like electrical fusion. The process of disconnecting connections is called emotional impact and may take several forms. Although it can protect us, over time, it may not be able to fully handle events and feelings.
I believe that learning how to be disconnected from the feeling of early childhood laid the foundation for the development of later addictive diseases. Drugs and behaviors that imitate “fighting, flying, frozen, freezing” can cause the body to be separated from unpleasant emotions. Sexual and pornographic addiction, as well as sexual use of drugs (especially used with phenarbidhamine such as cocaine and phenylphenylphane), so that the “awakening” side of the edge system is distracted with these feelings. Penaline, gender, porn products, and other irritating behaviors (such as gambling and even the stolen stolen) produce a kind of strength, which makes emotional discomfort and disperse emotional discomfort, effectively becomes shame and other unnecessary emotional detoxification agents.
Effect on interpersonal relationships
These emotional numb models are learned in childhood, and affect the establishment of meaningful relationships (“additional” in a healthy way. Therefore, sexual addiction (including pornography) and sexual use at the same time and drug use can be conceptualized into Intimate obstacles.[i] They make up for the ability of individuals who cannot fully bond in intimacy, and may indeed lead to or deteriorating any intimate relationships in existence. Like sexual drugs, the ultimate treatment goal of sexual addiction is to “master the establishment of experience in establishing a long -lasting and trusting relationship with others”[ii] Moreover, I will add a close connection with myself. The most common obstacles to prevent drug addicts from achieving these intimate relationships include shame, the feeling of self -regulation and maintaining sexual boundaries.
because tolerantThe human body attempts to manage the destruction of addiction, and upgradeAddicted to tolerance for tolerance. For example, porn users may find that very exciting image types no longer generate the intensity required today. This has led to an upgrade, and users are looking for more extreme or more TA -based images to obtain the dopamine.
This habit also leads to a numbness of individuals and non -sexual behaviors. Although most people clearly recognize that there are obvious differences between sexual fantasies and sexual behaviors, a few people, especially under the influence of powerful drugs such as methyl phenylphenylene, will integrate fantasy and reality in their behavior. Sometimes it is more complicated with the mental characteristics of methamphaide, which is more complicated.
Challenge in recovery
The main challenge of rehabilitation is to learn how to experience the numbness of the drugs and behaviors of the drugs and behaviors in a healthy way. In the early recovery, the world seemed very fierce. With the rooting of recovery, the numbness of the addiction behavior disappeared. Both good and bad emotions have begun to appear, and they are at a loss for those who have experienced this kind of experience for many years. The accumulation of life began to influx consciousness and must be managed. Many people find that even if they should be pleasant, they are so exciting that they become uncomfortable and threatened. The gender and intimacy are particularly the same. Many people rarely experience without protecting the protective insulation of emotional chemicals.
The addicts in early rehabilitation must learn how to effectively manage their emotions. Otherwise, they risk the risk of “self -obedience” to the desire of other drugs or behaviors. This transfer plays an important role in the recurrence process, just because there are many opportunities. Because it is inevitable to encounter pain or pressure in rehabilitation, addicts may turn to other compulsory behaviors, such as sex, work, and even functional disorders to soothe emotional discomfort. Although this may temporarily relieve the unpleasant feeling of unpleasantness, the core issues still exist, and the pressure and emotional pain have recovered. In the end, the cumulative losses of these pressure sources and the use of snowballs for other forced behaviors caused a significant recurrence. As Terry Gorski, an expert in abuse of drug recurrence, said: “The recurrence always grows from the inside out.”
