I’m a “love rat” investigator who sniffs out cheating men –
She is attacking these liars.
A “love rat” investigator who tests men’s fidelity to their partners has revealed the professions most commonly associated with cheaters.
“If I see a certain profile, I know they’re a scammer,” she said, according to The Sun.
Madeline Smith, a 32-year-old from Los Angeles who has more than 224,000 followers on TikTok, advertises her loyalty testing service to suspicious women who are willing to pay $65 for evidence.
Smith has tested 5,000 men over the past three years and exposed hundreds more. He said the number one career for cheaters is law enforcement.
“I’ve probably caught over 100 cops since I started doing this,” Smith said. “In my experience, this is the profession where cheating is most likely.”
She said “service” occupations such as firefighters, paramedics and military officers were at the top of the cheating list, claiming “they are always looking for an opportunity”.
Smith said that after police and service members, gym bros — “the ones who post progress photos or flex their muscles,” she noted — are the second most likely to be unfaithful.
“It’s not a big deal to post gym pictures everywhere, but when that’s their identity, that’s a huge indicator,” she explains.
Smith revealed that businessmen and those salespeople who were forced to travel frequently were also found to be disloyal because they had “opportunities to cheat”.
“Their home life is their home life and if they’re traveling, they’re disengaged so much that it justifies their behavior in their eyes,” she said, adding, “If they’re out and about, it’s easy to Meet people to pay attention to when they go out to eat or work in a bar.”
“Cheating gives them a sense of invincibility, and I think they compartmentalize too much.”
Smith claims that attorneys are also among the professionals she finds more likely to cheat because they tend to have a “work hard, play hard” mentality.
Doctors, however, were at the bottom of Smith’s list because of the grueling hours they work – although she added that if they did cheat, it was likely to be their colleagues or staff.
“I think people in general are severely stunted emotionally, and men even more so. They look for opportunity because, historically, they’ve never had to take responsibility for their actions,” Smith said.
“Women often focus on one person to bridge all their emotional differences and try to resolve them, even though deep down they know they are unlikely to change.”
New data from the illegal encounters website backs up Smith’s claims, showing police are actually the biggest liars, The Sun reports.
The website’s survey, which listed the most common cheating professions in 2024, found that 63% of police officers surveyed last year admitted to being unfaithful.
Builders came in second with 42% saying they cheated, followed by 37% of salespeople and 31% of personal trainers.
The professional “honey hunter” – who has previously revealed signs of cheating such as turning his phone face down, using Snapchat, excluding his partner from photos and refusing to share his location – also explained his partner’s infidelity reason.
“A lot of infidelity and seeking things outside of a relationship is a result of not having the right partner or being unhappy with yourself,” Smith said.
“It could also be that people are not patient enough to find the right person, or not patient enough to realize they have a lot of work to do.”
