Swinging couple reveals how they got started - and their

A couple who have been together since 2009 reveal the conversations that sparked their rocking lifestyle and the rules they had when they first started.

Olivia and Gage (known as “Vesta Wife” and “Vesta Husband” respectively) met on a night out in Leeds, northern England, in 2009 and exchanged numbers. But it wasn’t until later, when Gage was on summer break, that the two reconnected.

Olivia revealed during pillow talk that she identifies as bisexual, or is at least curious about bisexuality, the couple told YouTube channel Love does not judge.

“Long story short, it was a mutual decision. Conversations about Olivia’s sexual orientation went on for weeks,” Gage said.

Initially, Olivia insisted on exploring her sexuality with Gage, but it was difficult to find single women to join. Then, they met a couple and the rest is history.

At first, the couple had rules. Gage can only be with another woman or couple if Olivia is around, but she can do whatever she wants because it makes her uncomfortable at first.

Now, their relationship is rocky and their main concern is maintaining communication.

The couple realized there was a huge problem with apps and forums that helped them meet other like-minded couples. Gage claimed that much of the content was filled with fake profiles.

So they decided to create their own. So Swing Hub was born to modernize and get more people involved in swing sports.

“We actually create a very safe environment. You can’t screenshot any images in there, so people can be as discreet as possible,” Olivia said.

“No photos shared. Everyone verified. Everything is safe so you know who you are talking to.”

They say all they want to do is show people that non-monogamy is OK.

The couple, who define their marriage as open, have also become famous on social media.

When Olivia and Gage started getting attention on social media, they called their family. Gage’s mother revealed she’s been watching their TikTok.

The family’s attitude is that it doesn’t affect them and as long as they’re happy it’s fine.

However, things are not easy. The couple received a lot of backlash, with some asking why they bothered to get married, claiming it was another form of cheating and that they were spreading STIs.

On the other hand, since going public, many have thanked the couple for giving them the courage to explore this side of themselves.

The couple also have a swing party venue called Vanilla Alternative, which can see up to 300 people attend on a lively night.

However, at swingers clubs, some people revealed that they had lost friends because they were in open relationships. One person claimed that a friend told him that he should cheat on his wife.

“Our relationship works because we do communicate. When we got into this lifestyle, we talked about it a lot, and it filtered into everyday life,” Gage said.

“That in itself made our relationship work.”
