Does this count as a flame test pass or fail?
The toy I bought on Amazon claims to be “pure silicone,” which is obviously questionable, so I tried the flame test with a lighter on the narrow tip of the base. It didn’t catch fire, it did smoke quite a bit, and turned to ash, but it looked like the material was a little cracked and deformed, like “popcorn.” I wish I could upload a picture, but is the information given a pass or fail for real silicone?
