Circumference vs. Diameter – Is it just me?

Am I the only one who gets really annoyed when toy thickness is expressed in circumference instead of diameter? When I buy toys for my wife, I don’t consider her vaginal circumference, but I know what 2 inches is thick without any conversion. Or, instead of thinking “a 3-inch thick dildo guarantees an orgasm, which is exciting”, do I just have to start thinking “a 9.42-inch circumference dildo guarantees an orgasm, which is exciting” like some perverted math nerd?
