The new Lovense Lush 3 delivers a high-pitched sound

I recently bought a Lovense Lush 3 and it makes a high pitched whining noise, especially at lower vibration levels, which is driving me crazy. I’m wondering if this is normal or if the toy I bought is defective in some way.
