I need help/advice

I bought a flashlight (without the sleeve) at a sex toy store. I’m also considering buying a toy (torso?). My problem is that I find them too tight and I have a lot of issues with toys since I have very sensitive skin. I’ve tried using lube like crazy but it only works temporarily. I’ve also seen people cut them to be less tight but don’t know exactly how to “cut” them. Does anyone know if the toy or (torso, butt, etc) isn’t so tight? Or is this a problem with sex toys in general?
