The evolution of Lovense Lush 3

The evolution of Lovense Lush 3

Lovense is known for many things, most notably its remote-controlled sex technology, but one thing I think people overlook is the way it uses customer feedback — especially when updating previous generations of toys.

Yes, I know it sounds like corporate propaganda. But listen to someone who has seen a product go from concept to shipping firsthand, and feedback really is heard.

Let’s Lush 3 For example.

This bright pink, wearable heart egg is now in its third generation.

How did it evolve?

Package

Aside from the new branding, the packaging hasn’t changed a whole lot – mostly because there’s no need. However, they have started adding black satin bags to go with each toy, which is nice (and much needed).

Light bulb

The overall shape of the lamp also remains largely the same (aside from a few millimeters of tweaking). The biggest change comes from the placement of the power button. After the first version, they learned a few things from their customers pretty quickly. For example, putting the power button inside, you know, makes it a little difficult to turn on/off.

Another useful difference is the location of the charging port.

Originally, it was on the side of the bulb where you had to insert the charging pin. The Lush 1 is still waterproof, but if you’re like me, I had heart palpitations every time I plugged it in (yes, it’s a joke). I was worried that the internal tube or the pin would break somehow. There was also a warning to “not force the pin in”, which didn’t help.

The second version was the same, but by the third version the power button and charging port were moved from the bulb to the “bump” (or whatever it’s called) on the end.

Finish

In addition to the power button, the charging port is now a magnetic clip — which saves everyone a lot of stress.

I think Lovense waited so long to make this change because they needed to find a piece of hardware that was strong enough but small enough to fit into the final product without making the final product look like there was a giant lump on the pubic bone.

neck

The first selling point is the flexible neck.

In theory, this is a good idea, but when you tuck your neck into your underwear, it bulges out slightly, and if you’re wearing tight underwear, the bulge will be noticeable.

The new neck is sturdier (not adjustable). It flexes with the body, hides the end result better, and (in my experience) helps keep the toy in place better.

P.S. Maybe this will also help cam models remember that they shouldn’t swing a toy by the neck and then wonder why it breaks after a few uses.

LUSH 3 by LOVENSE – courage

As always, all three toys have received motor upgrades – even small improvements can feel like huge improvements when you crank them up.

Bluetooth range has improved. However, keep in mind that it will still have connection issues if you’re sitting cross-legged on the other side of the room with a hundred people between you and the controller. So, it’s best to switch to a remote control.

I’m not an engineer but the guys in the tech department told me that the “parts” were better. To be honest I didn’t understand half of what they said but it sounded good.

There is also the standard programmable vibration (x10) and all the bells and whistles that come with the dedicated app. From what I understand, there have also been improvements and/or changes in the cam models (software and installation etc).

LUSH 3 BY LOVENSE – Conclusion

It’s interesting to know all These changes over the years Direct from customer feedbackSo if you have any suggestions for the next generation of Lush (or any other Lovense toy), don’t be afraid to contact customer service and share your ideas. It’s nice to know they actually attend R&D meetings.
