I understand Hustler Doggy Style Support Strap As a free sample in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. I like the idea of having something to hold onto instead of my hips (which get sore or sweaty after a while).
Plus, we got a double take today because I also gave it to a couple friends to try out (after cleaning, of course).
let’s start…
product
The harness is made of a long nylon strap sewn onto a thin foam-like support pad.
- Fully extended nylon strap to body pad = 43 cm
- Nylon belt width = 4cm
- Body pad length = 37cm
- Body pad width = 13cm
The idea is for the “giver” to place the support pads on the receiver’s lower body, or where the pads naturally fall when you grab the straps and pull. The idea is to make it easier for both parties to participate – the giver gets a better grip and the receiver gets an easier “lift.”
Package
It’s a standard box with brand imagery and plenty of room to place the product (no wasted box space). The harness is wrapped in black paper and has a “Thank You” sticker on it, which is a nice touch.
My only concern is that the poor box was terribly crumpled when it arrived. This could be for two reasons. One is that it had to be sent to me twice (there was a problem with customs the first time). Or because it was only a review sample, it wasn’t packaged to normal customer standards.
I’m not a packaging fussy person by nature, as long as the product isn’t compromised (which it is).
Material review
The materials are pretty standard in my opinion – especially considering the price. It also looks easy to clean, but if you’re sharing and bodily fluids are going everywhere, I’d be very careful about disinfecting it.
- The foam is soft and the seams look solid
- Adjustable clip made of ABS plastic
- The overall structure looks solid
Experience
Remember when I said “honest and unbiased”? Well, that’s what I’m going to do. There are pros and cons to any product, and I’m going to cover both from my experience as well as the experience of my husband and wife testers.
First, we discovered that the grip tape was too short – which led to the second problem…
Neither I nor any of the other testers are plus-sized. We are definitely curvy, but not very skinny. I can foresee issues if plus-sized/curvier people tried this. The straps are already pretty short, but if the giver wants to wrap them around their hands for extra grip, your hands are pretty much at the body pad.
What does it mean?
It’s really only comfortable/practical for smaller customers.
Secondly, despite the padded area, the nylon straps are sewn onto it. I understand why – this ensures the foam doesn’t tear. I totally get that. However, it means that all the pressure is applied to the 4cm space, rather than the 13cm padding (which folds over itself when in use).
Lastly, the nylon stitching on the edges caused some chafing after a while. Although the stitching was secure, there was a small edge that would rub back and forth along the skin.
Suggestions for Improvement
I think with a few minor tweaks this could be a great toy.
- There is one Full nylon backing – Stitching on the pad side to better distribute pressure
- Make the side straps longer – It’s better to have more than enough
- Make the pad itself bigger Length and width (to accommodate larger bodies)
- or Available in different sizes Therefore, customers can choose the one that best suits their body shape.
Final Thoughts
All of our testers were on the fence about this harness. We liked some things about it, and we didn’t – the secure stitching and easy cleaning were highlights. Who doesn’t love help with better dog posture?
Personally, if the product remains as it is, then Suitable for people who are new to using sex toys or sexual aids (or anything weird). This will also make Great bachelorette party gift. Finally, the price is low enough that if it doesn’t work for your body, you won’t lose much (since it’s an “unopened package” return policy).
I can like This can be seen in the Hustler Harness version 2.0. With the few tweaks mentioned above, it will make a huge difference and turn an average product into a great one.
