What size toy is good for a first time beginner?

Im looking for some toys to use, but i am a beginner and a virgin. I used something before that was about 3-4 inches long and had a girth under 1 inch.

I want to order a dildo that is 5.9 inches long and has 1.5 inch girth. I have no idea if this is a good size to really start with, since i had no feeling with the first one.

I am also ordering lube!

I do want some recommendations!
