Small/slim Dp starter toys

Wife is starting to enjoy anal probing with fingers during sex but we are logistically finding it difficult, especially doggy where I just can’t get my hand in there and thrust.

Any recs? Should I just look at trainer plugs? Not looking for anything bigger than a male middle finger currently which rules out 99% of silicone dildos I’ve found. I found some probes with a finger band that seemed promising but are tps so not an option. I like the finger strap idea as I could “operate it” more during cowgirl than a plug that will probably just be in.
