What’s the general progression of anal?

I want to get into using dildos but I’m not sure what size I should start with or toy(s) to start with, I’d love a realistic silicone vibrating dildo and because I’ve never had any kind of penetration experience I don’t have a real preference for girth length shape. any tips/advice would be extremely appreciated thank you in advance.
