We are pleased to announce our We Give Back Wednesdays organization for July: Self Enhancement, Inc.!

For over 40 years, Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) has been a change agent in the City of Portland, striving to meet the complex needs of youth and their families by helping them to overcome cultural, educational and economic barriers. SEI is the second largest minority-owned organization in the state of Oregon and serves over 16,000 youth and families annually.

SEI’s mission is to guide underserved youth to realize their full potential. SEI works with schools, families, and partner community organizations to provide support, guidance, and opportunities to achieve personal and academic success. SEI brings hope to individual young people and enhances the quality of community life.
