Should I just toss this toy?

I recently purchased a pipe dream dildo from A&E. The dildo itself claims to be made of Platinum Silicone both in the listing [here]( and on its packaging in fact it’s one of its main selling points.

Cut to a few days ago when I received the dildo and it seems sticky/tacky when dry? Not when wet.

Is this normal for a new silicone dildo out of the box?

I brought it to Pipedream’s attention and they essentially told me to clean which of course I’ve already done more than once with a toy cleaner + soap and warm water.

They did briefly mention offering a replacement but have yet to get back to me.
