This dessert, created by chef Hiroko Kawano, won this year’s Mystays Hotel Group’s Best Chef of the Year cooking competition. It’s a gorgeous Mont Blanc, served with Rigencha jam, rich mascarpone mousse and dill sorbet. Guests can experience it first-hand at a special commemorative event at the Kazemachi Terrace at Sheraton Grande Ocean Resort. It comes with a drink of your choice: an elegant glass of wine or a soft drink.

Area – Kimpton Hotel Shinjuku’s Brasserie, Bar, Lounge will host festive candlelight terrace events to keep you warm all winter long. There will be a stove to heat up those chilly nights and two different hotpots of two flavors to choose from. The first is cheese and chocolate fondue and the second is Japanese style with butter stock and spicy bisque.

The Peninsula Tokyo and Tokyo Symphony Orchestra 2024 Christmas Concert
The Peninsula Tokyo welcomes back the Tokyo Symphony Strings Chamber Orchestra for its annual Christmas charity concert.
The hotel’s world-class chefs will serve delicious cuisine, while diners can enjoy the exquisite music of the Tokyo Sifonia Orchestra, conducted by maestro Robert Riker, which has become a favorite Seasonal traditions. There will also be a raffle offering luxury gifts including hotel stays, dinners, spa treatments and more.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to three organizations: Japan Toy Hospital Association, whose “toy doctors” repair broken toys for free; Make-A-Wish Foundation Japan, which helps children with incurable diseases realize their dreams; Vamos Together is An association that aims to create a society in which disabled and able-bodied people can live in harmony.

Guests staying at the hot spring ryokan Ureshino-yadoya from December 30 to January 2 can enjoy free meals with Metal products brand Nakago (Fujiwara Co., Ltd.). From December 30, guests will be able to taste original plum wine brewed with Japanese black tea. On January 1 and 2, they can also taste the region’s famous Toranoko sake.
The Ureshino area in Saga Prefecture is famous for its tea production and its famous beauty hot springs, which are especially suitable for brewing black tea.
The event will be held on December 30 from 15:00–18:00. From December 31 to January 3, events will take place from 8:00–11:00 and then from 15:00–18:00.

Lighted beer garden and à la carte buffet at Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island, Okinawa
Take your festive vacation to the next level this winter and relax near the beach: Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa’s Lobby Lounge & Bar will feature a specially customized buffet to match the hotel’s venue’s light display.
Beginning Friday, November 8, the Lobby Lounge and Bar will significantly expand its food menu with new snacks and specials. It will also offer a first-of-its-kind customized buffet plan, where guests can order a buffet within two hours. Enjoy this new dinner experience in the hotel’s open-air lounge or outdoor garden, under the warm holiday lights, while sipping Okinawan rum, whiskey and craft beer.
