Online shopping is your best bet. Just avoid Etsy, Amazon, and eBay. Buy from more reputable sellers and/or places where you can find real customer reviews.

Maintenance and cleaning

It also depends on how good of a condition you want to keep the toy and what material it is made of.

Synthetic Materials:

• If there are any “shards”, pick them off
• Manual cleaning of any area
• Take a damp, soft paper towel or cloth and wipe the tail along the grain.
• Wipe again with another clean paper towel or cloth
• Allow to air dry – preferably in direct sunlight
• Wait until the tail is completely dry before brushing.

The plug is nice – tapered head, small neck, and flared base. The tail also comes with the option to be attachable or detachable, so you can buy other tails and swap them out.

It is also easy to clean.

Looking closely at the metal attachment, this tail is also great if you want to be a little more “rough” and do some pulling. You can also choose the size of the plug.

Silicone black dog tail ($25)

Simple, but still cute.

The 8-inch tail will wag as you play. And since it’s also 100% silicone, you don’t have to worry about cleaning it. Another plus is the plug—it’s well designed and has an excellent base. The only downside? The plug only comes in one size.

Despite this, I would still recommend it.

Pink Pig Plug (20 dollars)

I want to like this. It’s pink, cute, and curly.

Coupled with the porous material and the poorly designed plug (the neck isn’t thin enough compared to the base), I’d recommend you stay away from it.

All I’m saying is, it’s not nearly as bad as the one that looks like a pink cherry on your butt. It’s dangerous.

White and brown fox tail ($55)

Spank Academy is the place to go to find real fur tails in a variety of colors. They also let you choose the style and size of plug you want.

One thing to keep in mind is that since it is real fur, the tail you order will not look 100% like the one in the picture.

For those who are animal-conscious, the academy’s argument against synthetic materials is that they are more damaging to the environment, natural materials biodegrade, and many synthetic materials are produced in poor conditions in third world countries, etc.

Whether you agree with this is up to you.

Black pony butt plug (20 dollars)

There are a lot of good things about this toy. The base shape is great and I can even reach past the rubber tail cord (since you won’t be inserting that part).

However, after reading the description, it was discovered that the substance was a suspicious “soft black gel”.

Since they were blunt about the rubber part, I can only assume the base is jelly. For those who don’t know, jelly toys are full of toxic chemicals that can cause serious damage.

White Foxtail Grass ($29)

You’ll notice that most of the plugs are simple, sturdy options. However, the White Fox Tail comes with a vibrator.

I can’t tell from the product pictures how the tail, plug, and vibrator connect to each other (I’m assuming the tail connects to the vibrator, which connects to the plug). Also, given the size of the insert, I wouldn’t expect a powerful vibrator motor.

My only gripe is the tail. While it’s very fluffy, I would have liked a few more threads to make it fuller and even more anime-like – but that’s just my personal opinion.

Since it’s silicone and inexpensive, it’s definitely worth trying.

Fuck like a rabbit ($29)

Finally a cleverly named one. It’s also much better than the other SubShop features we’ve seen.

There isn’t much to say here other than the plug is nice (probably better suited for beginners who need a bit more size grading) and the white fur ball resembles a bunny.

Side note: SubShopDotCom seems to be offering some really great discounts for a limited time. I haven’t monitored the site long enough to know if these discounts are self-recurring (and the discounted price is always this price) or if they are truly great deals.

5 Colors Pastel Unicorn Plug ($135)

This list wouldn’t be complete without a product from Crystal Delights. If you want a safe glass butt plug, these guys are the ones to go to! And, while they focus primarily on butt plugs, they do have some tail options.

One of my favorites is the rainbow unicorn.

It’s the fanciest and most extra thing you can get – including a magical swivel plug.

The best part about these toys is that the tails are detachable so you can buy separate tails and swap them out. Love it!

You can also choose from small, medium, or large (so you can choose a plug that’s comfortable for you).

At over $100, it’s more suited for more serious players.

TAILZ Extra Long Mink Tail ($52)

Want to be more kitten-like? You can wear this 30″ faux fur tail (which is long compared to other toys) and shake your cute hips around the apartment. Nice plug, beautiful tail, from Adam & Eve (they have a great return policy).

Go for it!

Kitten Cream Set Collection are all handmade quality ears and tail sets.

The headband is custom made and “made from the finest Italian Mazzucchelli acetate.” Some of the fur looks real, but is actually fake.

The leather upholstery is made from American Bison (they work directly with the organization).

However, its feature is the plug.

While they come in stainless steel as standard, the best option is medical-grade implantable titanium—and all the color comes from heat, not dyes or other chemicals.

If the price of over $300 is a bit too expensive, you can wait for their big sale.
