Couple flying around the world for weddings, realizing they are not
They were accidental wedding crashers.
A frustrating couple flew for 14 hours and shelled thousands of dollars for their destination wedding, only realizing they weren’t on the guest list after booking.
“Technically, we flew in the world for a wedding,” Yasemin Sarli told People.
The wedding crash reportedly fell in 2023, but Sarli recently posted information about it only in Tiktok videos, which has amassed over 1.7 million views.
She and her then-two-year boyfriend were reportedly happy to fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina, a nostril ceremony for her Beau’s university partner.
“The wedding comes casually between my boyfriend and groom,” Sally told the Daily Mail. According to her, the groom described Soiree as a “little wedding with family and close friends” and her boyfriend explained it as “you must go.”
But despite receiving early preserved texts, the two have never actually received a formal wedding invitation.
Still, her former flames were so confident that they were invited to “book everything”. According to The Outlet, he reportedly fell to $1,500 on a round trip flight at a luxury hotel and sold for another $3,000 on five nights, where they heard other guests were staying.
However, Sarli felt that there were some problems in the days before the revelry because they did not receive any wedding updates.
“We started waving danger a few days before we left,” she troubled. “No follow-up news, no timetable, no ‘can’t wait to see you!'”
That was when it popped up and they were never really invited.
But by then, it was too late to retreat. The uninvited guest thought it was “too embarrassing” to the bride and groom at the time, plus the last minute meant a large amount of money was lost as the trip was non-refundable.
“Once we realize that we are essentially a wedding hatred, we’re just a hub. We’re like, ‘Well, the secret vacation is.’ “I’m so happy to spend uninterrupted time together. ”
So the couple flew from Frankfurt, Germany to the capital of Argentina, which would be an unintentional wedding for the age group.
However, to avoid being caught, the couple “undercover” to maintain unauthorized attendance.
They avoid vacation updates on social media and even make sure to follow other guests’ schedules.
“If we find the wedding group hanging by the pool, we stay in the room or book the spa,” Sally said. “We had super or super ate to avoid dinner overlap. We even planned a random trip just to make sure we didn’t bump into anyone randomly.”
Like marital spy media, they even wear disguises that make the guests unrecognizable.
“At some point, honestly, we starred in our own mini-secret movies with the mission: Avoiding wedding guests,” Sally said in a reflection on their secret party.
In retrospect, the accidental crasher who broke up with the guy shortly after the trip said she was glad she started the trip, which she described as “chaotic, awkward, a little miserable and hilarious.”
Sarli concluded that “it was just a big misunderstanding that turned into a great story.”
